PLYO-SK8 Membership focuses on skating speed & agility, emphasizing stride mechanics and dynamic edgework, by creating good habits to imprint proper techniques. The utilization of both the mini rink & skating treadmill is designed to reinforce what was trained and to assist in the successful transfer of the “learned behavior” to real ice.
Extra Hour treadmill training coupled with Cathy’s Power Skating gives players the skating foundation in which all other hockey game skills can be built. We focus on a repetitive and progressive training style to ensure consistent skill development and aim to establish the biomechanics of proper muscle movement, so that each of our hockey players embodies these attributes as they develop and evolve.
We teach skills (through communication and demonstration), not just running drills! Telling a player to “move their feet or skate faster” does NOT teach them how to improve skating skills!!

Where speed meets accuracy! Our unique skating treadmill and shooting class combines two essential elements of hockey training into one dynamic and intensive session.
Under the guidance of experienced coaches, players will receive personalized, on the fly, instruction, as they fine-tune their technique and push their limits on our skating treadmill.
With our unique training tools, players will be able to work on improving whatever skills are needed. From wrist shots, to snap shots, to one-timers, to slap shots, players will learn to unleash their shots with precision, power, confidence, honing their ability to score goals from anywhere on the ice!
